Lovers Key State Park

If you are looking for secluded beaches in Florida then the beaches of Lovers Key State Park are a great places to start. The park boasts four miles of pristine white sandy beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, making it an ideal destination for beach lovers.

Our favorite beach in the park is Lovers Key Beach, which is known for its crystal-clear waters and soft sand. This beach is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and beachcombing. It’s also a popular beach for shelling, as the park is home to more than 700 species of shells.

To get to Lovers Key State Park, you can drive south on Estero Boulevard from Fort Myers Beach. There is ample parking available at the park, and the entrance fee is currently $8 per vehicle. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle from Fort Myers Beach or Bonita Springs for a hassle-free experience.

Make sure you bring everything you need with you as there are no concessions available in the park and keep an eye out for wildlife which is in abundance here.

Dry Tortugas National Park is home to seven small islands, including Garden Key, which also boasts a beautiful white sand beach. This whole area is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling. As you would expect with isolated beaches in Florida it is a little adventure to get here. You will need to park at the North end parking area of the State Park and walk. Then you need to walk down the Shoreline Access Trail then after about a third of a mile over a small hill to the dunes and then you are there.

Make sure you have sturdy shoes for the walk and you will need to carry everything you need with you. Believe us the small hike is worth it because the rewards are incredible.

What we love about Sand Key Beach is its soft white sand and clear blue waters, which make it a perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing, and playing beach sports. The beach also offers great views of the Gulf of Mexico and the surrounding islands, which makes it a great spot for photography.

If you want to visit when it is quieter get here as early as you can or arrive later in the afternoon.

Crescent Beach

Crescent Beach is one of the nicest secluded beaches in Florida. It’s one of the beaches in Siesta Key and extends south from the public area of Siesta Beach down to Point of Rocks.

Here you will find the fine, white sand and crystal clear waters that this area is known but Cresent Beach is much less crowded than other beaches in the area. It’s the perfect beach for a leisurely stroll, sunbathing, or playing in the water

This is one of the private beaches in Florida so don’t expect amenities. While there are no official public access points it’s easy to get to and there is street parking a short walk away.

The sunsets at Crescent Beach are also incredible, and it’s a popular spot for locals and visitors to watch the sun go down.

If you are after remote Florida beaches they don’t get much more remote than this. You can only get there by boat and it’s a no-car island. Most people get there by boat from Marco Island or Naples.

Keewaydin Island is one of the unknown Florida beaches and is a hidden gem located in southwest Florida. If you are after scheduled and picturesque this is it.

The Island is known for its pristine white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and abundant wildlife. Here you can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, shelling, and even dolphin and manatee sightings.

One of the things we love about Keewaydin Island is the natural beauty and serenity of the beach. The lack of development and crowds allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature.

It’s just so beautiful here and it’s perhaps one of the most romantic secluded beaches in Florida.

Beer Can Island/Longboat Key

If you are after secluded white sand beaches in Florida then Beer Can Island might just be what you are looking for. This one-mile stretch of beach wraps around the northern tip of Longboat Key and is naturally beautiful.

The beach got its name because it used to be a popular spot for locals to come and drink beer, leaving their cans behind. However, the island has since been cleaned up and is now a beautiful and pristine beach destination.
